Driving en route from New Hampshire to Ohio I felt my 99 Deville sorta lose some control when I’d go over bumps. I just found that the problem is something called the ‘spindle bushings.’ I was given a quote of $600 for each side of the car for a total of $1200. I obviously wonder whether this estimate seems reasonable, but even more importantly, I have to take a 160 mile trip on later this week and there isn’t time to get the part fixed. Is the car driveable with the bad spindle bushings?
