I own a 98 Saturn SL2 with 120,000 miles. It’s in decent shape, and I’ve got a good mechanic. A friend is buying a new car and has offered to give me his 94 Acura Legend with 130,000 miles. It’s in mint condition, inside and out.
I don’t have a lot of money, so here’s my question: If I acquire the Acura for free, will it eventually cost me more money due to the higher cost of parts?

I am far from having the knowledge that the other have on this site…
but for what its worth…take it…
- you say your getting it for free?..
- you can switch between both cars and thus putt less wear and tear on both cars.
P.S. are you sure its free?..your not going to owe in any way…like favors and such…?..

Take the car. If it costs you too much money, give it to me 
Those Legends were wonderful cars. Wouldn’t mind having one myself.
Sell your Saturn and keep the money for a repair/maintenance fund for the Acura Legend if you like the car.
