98 Dodge Neon SOHC 2L IAC

How do you replace the Idle Air Control Valve on a 98 Neon. I got a high rev so I did a cleaning as best I could of the throttle body the 1st time. I got a high rev. The 1st mechanic sprayed cleaner $60. I ended up with a high rev and went to mechanic #2. He sprayed and found a vacuum leak $60. I have a high rev again. My best guess is to go right to left and take out the throttle body. The silly thing is stuck under a plastic manifold with no easy access or ability to see the bottom side of the valve where the 2nd screw is. Thank you!!!

Remove the plastic intake air tube from the air cleaner to the throttle body. Remove the throttle body from the manifold. You will need a T-20 Torx socket to remove the IAC motor. Before installing the new IAC motor clean the passages with thottle body cleaner or carburetor cleaner.
