This has gotten to be a very annoying problem. As soon as the car is in motion, it starts to squeek, and the squeeking gets louder and faster the more you accelerate. the only think that stops it for a few seconds is tapping on the break quickly. everything else is perfect. any idea what it could be?
It’s the brakes. It could be several things, you will need to have it checked out.
How long has it been doing it? Does the weather make a difference? How old are the brakes?
it seems to get worse when it rains. i got the car 2 years ago, and the woman that i bought it from never said anything about changing the break pads. it may be them.
It could also be the belt for the ac or the accessory belt. Does it do it with the ac off?
