I have a 1997 Honda Accord LX 4dr. with the 2.2 V-tec. When we turn on the AC, you can feel the compressor kick in, but kicks out after 2-3 seconds. I have jumped out the low pressure switch, and the car will cover extremely well. I recharged the system, but the compressor will still cut off after a couple of seconds unless the switch is jumped out. Anybody have any suggestions?
Check for a faulty low pressure switch.
