Last night I turned my car on and when I flipped on the headlights they don’t work. However, the daytime running lamps stay on, the dashboard lights come on, and the high beams work when I flip them on. When I pull the high beam switch half way back the normal headlights come on but I have to hold it there for them to stay on. I checked the fuses and they all appear to be fine. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks.
There’s a problem with the combo/multi-function switch. Which is not uncommon with GM vehicles.
On some GM’s this switch can be replaced without removing the steering wheel. While on others, the steering wheel requires removal in order to replace the switch.
