I have a 96 Mercury Sable with 154,000 miles. Recently when I stop for a stoplight or stop sign it sounds like there are loose wires that are rotating and slapping against something. (I checked and there are no loose wires on anything rotating.) The sounds stop when I am driving and then when I stop again it may or may not occur.
