My truck wont stay running. Ive replace fuel pumps, gas tank, lines, sensor. Ive replace vacumn hoses. Ive brought it home 3 times from the shop. It ran fine, the next day, it started right up made it to the end of the drive way, stalls and wont start again for about 2 or 3 hours, It may run for a day or run for 1 minute, any suggestions on what else it could be?
Well you have replaced a lot of parts but you haven’t replaced the right one yet…
Sounds like an air leak between the fuel tank and the supply pump. Unless the supply pump is IN the tank…Then, you need to install a fuel pressure gauge so you can monitor your fuel pressure…Diesels have a “stop engine” circuit in the injection pump. Make sure that is not malfunctioning and shutting off the engine…
