95 Honda Del Sol Starts Immediately; Dies Immediately

My 95 Honda Del Sol starts immediately. Following the initial rev it dies immediately. Over and over. After waiting half an hour or so it might start - immediately - and keep running. No other symptoms that I know of. Problem showed up suddenly after being parked for 90 minutes in the sun at mid-day, and like the fish that came to dinner, has stayed. Problem has since been the same parked overnight in my carport. The only clue is that this problem turned up with the first real Phoenix heat wave of summer 09 (May 8th).

No Check Engine codes; too old. No fuel injection; normal plugs. I can hear the electric fuel pump start up, run for a few seconds and then quit if I don’t twist the starter right away.

Google: PGM-FI relay (or, “Honda main relay”).
