94 Toyota Pickup

This truck has been golden until this past 6 months. Making scraping noises up front, especially when clutch in, which I think is transmission or clutch, but the shop says “nothing wrong” - how can vehicle make that much noise without something being wrong? Or are shops just not fixing older vehicles these days? Anyone know what this actually is and I’ll fix it!

Take it to another shop. Noises have causes, this shop just apparently isn’t interested in looking for the cause.

The cause itself could be anything from a loose heat shield on the cat converter to a bad release bearing. it’s tough to guess from here.
