My wife’s car is overheating and I can’t seem to find the thermostat. I have read that even though it is rare, the thermostat is actually off of the lower radiator hose on this model. I have taken off both hoses now and don’t see the thermostat housing anywhere. The temp switch and Cool Temp Sensor, but not the stat. Help!
Look where the hoses connect to the engine block, on the driver’s side of the engine (not the side where all the belts are). The thermostat is inside the housing where the hose attaches to the engine.
