No recommendation in maintenance manual about flushing brakes. Why?
My guess would be that Toyota wants to give the impression of a car that requires minimal maintenance.

I too believe that brake and transmission service is not listed comes from the marketing department, not from the engineers. My truck does not mention brake fluid and transmission fluid at 100K !
Every 3 years, regardless of what Toyota says, is my recommendation to prevent internal corrosion of brake parts.
