I am having the same problem with my Lexus es 350 year 2020 you can hardly hear the base coming from the rear. I had to balance the rear speaker to 90% to be able to hear little bit my 2009 Lexus had a much better sound
Your Lexus surely has eq or basic bass/treble tone controls. Your Owner’s Manual will show you how to access them. The default settings aren’t going to please everyone. Turn up the bass and balance the front and rear speakers until you like the sound.
Yeah. My current and previous cars I have to turn the bass down considerably.
Car makers seem to think lots of boomy mid-bass can make up for a lack of truly deep bass.
Really, it’s not just car makers.
I have a dim recollection of seeing people complain about the sound from the Mark Levinson system in the current ES350’s. If that’s what you have, it’s a known problem, but I’m not sure what the resolution has been as yet. Have you spoken with your dealer?
You should be able to demonstrate this to your dealer, and to check another ES350 on the lot with the same systm to check if your is defective.
