Also double-check that that the fuse for protecting that circuit is the correct value. Someone may have changed it to a bigger amp rating b/c they didn’t have the correct size on hand. The fuses are sized to each circuit’s wire diameter , in part to help prevent this sort of problem.
If it is still drivable I’d park it. In any case, have it towed to the dealer. Your Kia might still be under warranty and you could take advantage of that.
