at times screen says it cannot maintain contact with my phone
Are you connecting via a USB cord, or via Bluetooth? If via cord, get a new one.
Try with a different phone. Sometimes there are compatibility issues. If the other phone has the same problem take it back to the dealer. Unless it has a lot of miles on it a 2019 should still be under warranty.

Remove your phone from the car’s system and reconnect.
If that doesn’t work, reset your car’s radio. There should be a small hole that the tip of the paper clips would fit.
If these don’t work, go back to the dealership. Some have a dedicated tech line you can call, it should be in your owner’s manual.
