2019 pacifica cannot change from park to drive when you first crank it.
There may be a problem with the brake pedal inter-lock switch, or the shifter inter-lock solenoid.
These are safety devices that prevent the shifter from moving out of park unless the brake pedal is depressed.

Have someone check if your brake lights are on when you’re trying to shift.
