Help? What in the world sprung my drivers door on my 2019 four wheel drive Chevrolet Tahoe Premier 6.2L? I
parked and opened & closed the door and got out to check my mailbox on a bad angle in my fairly steep driveway several times. All four wheels were at different angels & different heights. That couldn’t have done it - right? Also, I drove over angled railroad tracks during that time period and heard metal on metal noises as if the door wasn’t shut tight enough!
If you are still under your bumper to bumper warranty, as your dealership.
This should not have happened. If out of warranty have a shop inspect your chassis.

Has the door even swung open unrestricted while the vehicle was facing downhill on a steep slope? That could do it, and it wouldn’t be covered by warranty.
