have a dually that on occasion will start bouncing uncontrollably after hitting a series of bumps usually when it happens I am traveling at highway speed and practically have to stop driving to get it to quit
The shock absorbers are suppose to hold the tires to the road.
Maybe a bad set of shocks got installed at the factory.

Problematic control arm bushings are another possibility, although this seems very unlikely in a 2018. Does this effect change when the load you are hauling is greater or lesser ? When the center of mass of the load is more toward the front vs toward the back?
A 3500 dually is a beast, designed to haul or tow heavy loads. It doesn’t make a good car. I assume this is happening when you are empty. Have you complained to your dealer?
