10 sp/turbo Honda. Backed 50 feet from garage to driveway in front and stopped. Tried to put car back into the garage but after put in Drive and trying to go forward, the trans keeps going into Park. Went into Park after pushing Drive button many times. Finally pushed and held trans in Drive and slowly inched back into garage. Scary.
ONE year old car with a problem. The problem is your dealer’s, not yours. The car is under warranty, use it.

Some vehicles with electronic shift control (push buttons) the transmission will go into park if the vehicle is stopped and you open the drivers door. Next time be sure to close the door completely before moving the vehicle.
