Incidental find when oil was changed at dealer - right axel boot was leaking; replacement done (4/19). Noticed moderate vibration on steering wheel when gas pedal pushed. Took in to dealer - another incidental find - right axel boot again leaking (6/19). So a CV axel was installed. Vibration continued so a transfer case is ordered and will be installed next week. Any idea what’s going on?
Your dealer is replacing parts hoping to get lucky. The dealership/factory model of repairs is not great for doing extensive diagnostic work because there is nothing that will reimburse a mechanic for spending time thinking and trying different things or running multi[le tests.
I pray this is all under warranty.
