2017 Ford Fiesta - Serious sounds

61000 on car when braking sounds like bad axle was replaced on passenger side still hear like it is the axle could it be the transmission very disgusted.

You unclear post seems to say that you had the passenger side axle replaced . If that is correct just call the place that did it and tell them you still have the noise.

Ford had a lot of problems with those transmissions… Could be your shop misdiagnosed the noise, Could be that the axle was bad but you also have a braking issue etc etc… Could be you need the other side axle… Could be your transmission… Could be a defective part…

These 2017–2019 Ford Fiesta and 2017–2018 Ford Focus cars with PowerShift transmissions allegedly experience jerking, slipping, bucking, sudden and/or delayed acceleration, delays in downshifts and, ultimately, transmission failures. The Fiesta and Focus cars allegedly lurch even when drivers hit the brakes.Jul 14, 2022

If you only hear this noise at the front when braking, common sense says the first thing to do is ask your shop do a visual inspection of the front disc brakes. One common cause of disc brake noise, when the pads are near their wear limit, a metal tab (part of a wear indicator) starts to scrape on the rotor when braking. This makes a horrendous sounding noise, the purpose of which is to get the driver’s attention the brake pads need to be replaced pronto in order to retain safe stopping distances and to avoid damaging the brake rotors.
