Hi, We’ve had our car for 7 months. I’m getting used to the “settling” noises a hybrid car makes after turning off the engine, however, there is a grating or scraping sound when backing up or going from idle/stopped position moving forward. It is a used car, but it is the first time we’ve gotten a used car still under warranty! Toyota said it was a hose that they re-adjusted. Hasn’t fixed it. Any ideas? Thank you, Laurel
Return to dealer, that is why you have a warranty. These are complex vehicles so internet guessing is just that -guessing. Also ant self repair you try to make may cause you to lose the warranty on the item that is the problem.
