Hi:
I have a 2016 jeep Cherokee sport 2.4 l. The car has 37000 miles and the ECU/ ECM does not get ready, it doesn’t matter what I do or how many miles I drive. I ordered a new ECU and when I was removing the old one the retainer broke so now it is locked. Could anybody tell how can unlock it without damage the harness?

Your Jerp is barely out of the bumper to bumper warranty but still within its powertrain and emissions warranties. Why are you working on it instead of the dealer?
I did not think about the warranty I bought the car used so I don’t know if the car still under warranty.
