Driving Down the highway at about 60 mph and all of my dash lights lit up and started blinking, then just the seatbelt light before all my gauges reset. The avg. mpg guage then said I was getting 99.9 mpg. Everything started working normally within a minute. It was about 58 degrees and dry out. Air conditioning and radio were on and seemed unaffected.
My guess is either a faulty fuse or one of the electrical connectors for the instrument cluster isn’t making a reliable connection for some reason. There’s an off-chance a solder joint has cracked on the instrument cluster circuit board too.
That’s one of the signs pointing to a problem with the Body Control Module.
