HELP! Skid plate under motor keeps being damaged with normal use. Replaced once. Defective design? Service depts. at dealers don’t want to say much. Good fixes to make it higher? Slightly bigger tires? Was there a Honda recall? Thank you
Not a skid plate although you seem to be using it that way. I will assume this is a plastic panel under the front bumper that you keep tearing up on parking blocks in the shopping center. If that is the problem, the solution is not to pull so far forward when you park. There are no better solutions for this. And no recalls either.
Many cars have this problem, not just Honda. Most of my cars for 30 years have had this problem… because I like low cars.
