I have a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. My 1st oil change today on it. Used my floor jack to lift the side. Pinch point. Used one floor jack center of crossmember baring most of weight. Looking into it further online this may not have been smart. Wondering if doing this caused damage with the crossmember unit. Looks fine maybe a small indent. Stupid I am.
YES, you are doing minimal damage. You should use 2 stands at a minimum to support the van. Please tell us this isn’t the first oil change EVER on a 3 year old van, is it??
