Transmission problems - Traverse will not go into 2nd gear - revs engine instead so seems to be in neutral… Only has 37000 miles…
So you have transmission problems. GM has a 5 year, 60K miles powertrain warranty. Take it to your dealer and let them fix it under warranty (for free, or at least cheap)
