Heat shield didnt protect the starter and the soloniod. the soloniod wire melted and the heat damaged the soloniod. Replaced the starter, soloniod and soloniod wire now the car will not crank.
you could of shorted out the starter relay. check their first. then make sure you attached the wires correctly.
