2016 Buick Cascada - rims are dented

Bonnie , why are you making repeat replies by email ?

Iā€™ll try again.
This is how the rims looked after dealer put new tires on.

Have a Happy Day!

Looks like curb rash to me.

There are replacement wheels new for less than that and at least get another price or two.

Curb scratches (on a vehicle you purchased used), if the mechanic was the one damaged the wheels how far did they drive your vehicle? Mileage in/mileage out should be on the invoice.

Those are definitely from scraping the curb(s)

Those are NOT the kind of damage caused by a dope using the tire mounting machine

Picture worth 1000 guesses. Those are curb scratches and pretty nasty ones at that. Zoom in, see the top most cluster? They are pulled outward, toward the tire. They protrude pretty far. In general, there doesnā€™t seem to be any oxidation around the edges, perhaps indicating the damage is fairly recent.

Iā€™ll second the repair mileage check. Also, are there any curbs around the dealer service area?

Returning the car with the tires a mess doesnā€™t reflect well on their level of service or diligence in careā€¦

Hereā€™s some food for thought . . .

Not every time that you scrape the curb do you actually feel it from the driverā€™s seat . . .

If youā€™re distracted, have the radio on, are arguing with the kids . . . any number of things, for that matter . . . you might not be aware of what just happened

Somebody definitely scraped the curb . . . whether they were aware of it or not
