I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue with only 19,500 miles on it and just took it in to my Nissan Dealer for routine Oil change. The Service Rep who prepared the invoice told me that I needed brake work performed and that it would cost me approximately $200.00. I was completely surprised by this since when did brake work be required on a car with only 19,000 miles on it. I am retired and only drive the car to local destinations. Is this work necessary at 19,000 miles??
Yes John, you could need brake work with only short trips and lots of stop and go driving. But could it be that they were recommending a brake fluid service ? Anyway , get a second opinion.
