I got a code for a mass air flow sensor, I replaced the sensor and the light eventually turned off. I did a diagnostic and the codes come back on can some one help me out what to check next?
Tell us the exact code (PXXXX) you got AND the one you have now as well as any other codes.
It also helps if you tell us what engine and transmission you have and the miles on it.
Post back and we’ll go from there.

Spend $25 on the service manual from Alldata DIY, Mitchell DIY, or Identifix. Follow the diagnostic steps for your code(s). Many issues cause multiple codes and diagnosing the wrong code will have you chasing your tail. For example, a P0101 alone generally means you need to replace the MAF, but P0101 with another code means you need to diagnose the other code. The P0101 was just a result of the other malfunction and will clear when the other issue is fixed.
