I was driving my 2015 KIA soul today, I had my seat belt on but as I started driving, the seat belt light started flashing, and when I stopped the car,it stops. As I started driving again , it start flashing. It has become what is happening every time. I don’t know what to do.
Just a thought. Try latching the passenger side seatbelt. if the seat belt light stops flashing when driving then the passenger seat occupancy sensor is probably bad.

If ideas here don’t work, take your Kia to a Kia Dealership or well-recommended inde shop w/Kia experience. They’ll know what to do. You don’t need this aggravation.
The next time you drive the vehicle, also latch the passenger side seat belt.
If the light doesn’t flash as you drive, the occupant sensor in the passenger seat may be defective and telling the BCM that some one is sitting in the seat without their seat belt on.

Could it also be that the driver seat belt sensor went bad and it thinks the driver’s seat belt is not used?
