After helping my son clean his Volkswagen Golf direct injection intake valves I was wondering if a catch can system should be installed on my GMC 6.2 liter direct injection engine to help reduce fouling of the intake valve
If your GMC doesn’t use lots of oil, I wouldn’t worry about it. I would, however, use an intake cleaner product sprayed into the intake regularly to prevent buildup.
