I have a 2015 Chrysler 300 S and it has a sealed automatic transmission. The owner’s manual says nothing about checking the fluid level or having it changed. Called two Chrysler dealerships and they both said the transmission fluid does not need to be changed and should last the lifetime of the car; I don’t agree with this. What is your opinion on this? Thanks!
I don’t agree with this either. And nothing is actually “sealed” The level can still be checked and there is a dipstick, just under the car. Here is how its done.
I’d suggest changing the fluid and filter every 50-60K miles if you plan to keep the car a while.
Thanks for the information! Much appreciated!
