I have been changing my own oil on cars since the days of Woodstock. Even though the dip stick says it’s full, how come there’s always less oil drained than the amount it’s takes to fill the engine?
Lets see , OH yeah there are many places where oil can stay until it is circulating . So this is not an uncommon thing. And not really worth worrying about. Some engines might retain more than others.
