Perhaps the guy who “ran out of oil” actually overfilled it since we never heard that there was oil leaking on the ground. perhaps he filled it so full that oil has seeped past the rings and has now hydro-locked the engine . . . pull the plugs and see if it cranks over.
That sounds like a good call. Remember though, what we heard was that he never checked for oil leakage.
