My chevy cruise has turbo recently while driving it it started smoking I pulled over and had it towed in. It was relayed to me that some plastic piece melted off and fell into the motor. I was told it could be fixed but would probably do it again.what plastic piece would do that?
Call them back and ask for a better descriptsion that you can understand and post here .
I am not dure what they are talking about. but as VOLVO-V70 said give them a call. I do know the turbo on your vehicle was common to failure.
The positive crankcase ventilation valve has been known to break apart and pieces fall into the manifold or engine.
GM has a special campaign to replace the intake manifold and/or camshaft cover to correct the PCV valve problem, coverage is for 10 years/120,000 miles.
