When I manually shift or use the shifting paddles, in 6th gear the engine remains at 2000 RPM’s and 60 MPH. Will not accelerate. Once I switch over to the automatic the vehicle will accelerate.
When you shift it back to automatic and are able to accelerate again, does the engine accelerate in 6th or does it down shift to 5th or 4th?

The electronics could be trying to prevent engine lugging.
This does sound like an electrical problem and might not be cheap to fix. When we got our first vehicle with the ability to manual shift the automatic transmission I did it a couple of times and decided that was silly .
