This is the 2nd audio system I have had in my Kia Sorento, both units, the XM radio quit working, and now my GPS has gone out of my 2 year old unit. What is the problem? Frustrated owner.
Cheap equipment ? - installation error ? - and it needs a real audio shop to solve this .

Were both units OEM (Kia) units? There may have been a design flaw in that particular stereo unit.
I’d go to Crutchfield and see what aftermarket options are available.
