Siege passager avance mais ne recule pas
Passenger seat moves forward but does not move backwards…
I am not familiar with your vehicle but,
I would first look under the seat and check for an obstruction.
If that isn’t your issue, I would have the switch checked. If not the switch, then look close at the wires to see if one is broken.
do you hear any sound when going backwards? like a grinding? if so, a plastic gear to move the seat backwards may be stripped.
En français, @weekend-warrior répondu;
No experience w/your car, but I had this same problem w/my truck’s seat recently. I could move it forward, but not backward. Stuck. Manual seat movement mechanism on truck, no electric motors. I was able to fix it quite easily, by spraying a small dose of silicone lubricant (from a spray can) on the seat’s tracks. Done in stages. At first you get it to move just a little, which gives you access to more of the track spray. Move it again, repeat spray, etc.
Must be one of our Canadian friends. I can speak a couple lines thanks to my French baby sitter but I can’t spell it.
I could speak basic tourist French pretty well in elementary school, but not in written form. Now the only French I know is what I learn by watching Poirot episodes on PBS. mais oui, c’est ne pas? … lol …
