Headlight and dash lights dim and comeback continually when running. I changed out the alternator already. Any other suggestions.
Did you test the alternator first or did you just replace it on principle? If it’s not the alternator it’s probably a weak battery. Many auto parts stores will test your alternator and battery and if not a shop will do it for a nominal fee.
If there are no other signs of the problem then look for a bad connection problem to power in the lighting circuit. If there are other issues also then look for a common connection to power to those areas and test it for a problem.
