Malfunction light on a 2013 Honda Accord xle
Do you mean the check engine light?
If so, most Autoparts stores will scan your vehicle for free and give you the codes.
then post them back here and we can try to help you.
First I would check the owners manual, see if this is different than the Check Engine light. And if so, what the differences are and what illuminates this light. If it has the same function as a Check Engine light see the above. If it is for other things, we would need more info as to what isn’t working. Other than that at least you know the light exists. Now you just need to find out what it’s for, just a quick clue, owners manual.
Do you have the owner’s manual? If not, you can download it from the Honda website. All of the dash lights are defined and all warnings are described. As mentioned above, if the Check Engine Light (CEL) is lit, get the codes read and post them here. We can help you figure out what’s wrong.
The check engine light is also known as the MIL, Malfunction Indicator Light.
