How soon am I likely to need a new battery. My Ford Edge is lightly driven - 12,000 - dealer installed new battery on service and I did not question it - New location for me - new dealer.
Hard to say, I like to replace my battery around 4-5 years. Others like to wait until the battery die.
Driving less than two thousand miles per year, you might want to reassess why you have a car.
