Very Hard and Harse ride, if I had false teeth they would be jarred out of my mouth.
Is there anything I can do about it. Would car tires, not Suv tires ride smoothers?
I don’t drive off road any more. I love my car,but not the ride. I am 80 years old,would like a softer ride.

Did you purchase this used without a test drive ? Tires are not going to make much of a difference. You just have the wrong vehicle .
Did it always ride this harsh?
The valving in the strut/shocks may have failed.
When this happens, the vehicle can ride like a buckboard wagon.

If you want a smooth ride, you’re not going to get it from this Volvo. You should trade it in on a Buick.
