If this is an after market unit just take the thing off . The count of posts here about problems with after market remote starters is in the hundreds . If it is factory then have it looked at or just don’t use it.
There seems to be a problem with the hood ajar switch, that is a safety feature that prevents remote start if you are working under the hood.
It’s factory. How do I over ride the switch? Just shorting out the connector don’t work. Do I have to replace the whole latch Assy.?
