Did you change the cabin filter? Look in your owner’s manual for that, it’s usually behind the glove box.

It’s most likely mouse or rodent pee. BillRussell is right about where to start. It might also be mold. This is the time of year that strikes. Here is an article by John Paul the Car Doctor from our sister publication that may be helpful. This is a great DIY project.
