When I put my car in reverse sounded like I ran over a bump before car moved.
Whenever I press brakes there is a low rumble towards middle or rear of car. Recently had oil change at Jiffy Lube. Connection?
Probably not… But taking your car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change is like playing Russian Roulette with your engine. sooner or later they will screw it up and it will blow up.
Your description sounds like a motor mount has failed and the engine is moving around way more than it should. That could cause your exhaust pipes to hit the floor under braking and make the “clunk” when shifting. Take it to a good independent auto shop (not a chain, not Pep Boys, and for goodness sake never again Jiffy Lube) and have them give it a good look. Be prepared to pay for his diagnostic time.
You went to JIFFY LUBE??? RIP car.
