I have a right side turn signal that has been flashing rapidly for over three weeks now. I have switched bulbs from right side to left side with no change. Even replaced the two rear bulbs with new ones, no change. I assume it is a bad ground somewhere but can not find anything wrong yet. Thanks in advance

Does this truck have a plug for trailer lights? Make sure the wiring to it isn’t shorted out, a lot of times light problems can be traced to a bare wire in the trailer harness touching the frame or hitch.

It does have a trailer light plug and it has been checked. Thank you.

[image] Nevada_545: Be sure to use the correct bulbs, some systems will give the bulb out alert (fast flash) if the bulb resistance is incorrect. +1 My '74 Volvo had a bulb burn-out warning light on the instrument panel. I found out by trial and error that the system was so sensitive that both of the bulbs on a particular circuit had to be the same brand, as well as the same type. It drove me to distraction until I figured this out. Apparently, even the extremely minor difference in resistance from two supposedly identical bulbs of different brands was problematic for that Volvo’s electronics.

Hoping I was going to reset the electronics with the battery disconnected but no such luck.

are you using standard bulbs or led bulbs?

if your truck calls for standard bulbs you have to use standard bulbs. if Led , you have to use led bulbs. you cant mix them or you will get hyper flashing.

I had the same problem on the left side. To make things worse it was intermittent. Someone posted earlier to replace both bulbs. I did that, problem solved!
