My VW Jetta SE cranks but doesn’t start. My son was messing with the fuses trying to fix the back light. The next few days my car wouldn’t start. I took it to a foreign car mechanic and after a few days on his lot he asked me what happened as if someone did something to the car.He also said the computer is not communicating with the engine. Any suggestions I will call him back tomorrow.
My only suggestion is that the next time your car needs repair, don’t ask your son to do it.

Oh, and get ready for a larger repair bill! Fixing someone else’s screw-ups can be really time consuming… and time is money.
