2011 Volkswagen Jetta - front springs need replacing again

2011 Jetta replacement front springs only 4 years old broken. How long should replacement springs last - I would assume more than only 4 years shouldn’t they?

Springs often last the life of the car. I’m surprised you had to replace them in the first place after only 7 years, and surprised again the replacements only lasted 4 years. They aren’t indestructible though. A bevy of fast stops, rapid accelerations, high speed cornering, potholes will eventually wear them to the point they need replacement. Do you know which company manufactured the replacements?

If you live in a place that salts the roads when it snows or you live near an ocean, corrosion can kill springs in a short time. Especially aftermarket springs which are not as well protected as original equipment springs.
